Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has been Phi Mu’s national philanthropic partner since 1986. “To lend to those less fortunate a helping hand.” The first line of Phi Mu’s Creed has been a call to serve others since it was written more than 100 years ago. From our earliest days of supporting a health mobile that delivered health care to women and children in rural areas to supporting toy carts for children in hospitals to our current partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Phi Mu has long been committed to lending a helping hand to those in need.
We are proud to be the only sorority to partner with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and have an alliance with the National Women’s History Museum. We were also the first sorority to establish a National Philanthropy Day more than 20 years ago. Lending a helping hand is at the heart of who we are as Phi Mus.
Xi Gamma's Philanthropy
Philanthropy is at the heart of everything we do as members of Phi Mu. Our chapter proudly supports Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, with our local efforts benefiting St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital right here in downtown Boise.Through fundraising events, volunteer opportunities, and campus-wide initiatives, our sisters work together to support children and families in our community while helping fund critical research, life-saving treatments, and compassionate care. Supporting CMN Hospitals gives purpose to our sisterhood and reminds us why service is such an important part of who we are as women in Phi Mu.
